Donate to CEJW and Fight Elder Abuse

A gift to the California Elder Justice Workgroup improves the ability of the legal, protective services and long term support systems to fight elder abuse and neglect. Your gift today will help CEJW:

  • Serve as a united voice for California elder justice advocates in the fight against elder abuse and neglect

  • Enhance collaboration among service providers, researchers, advocacy groups, stakeholders and policy makers to improve services delivery and coordinate response systems

  • Offer expertise and technical assistance to policy makers, program developers, advocacy groups and foundations to ensure that abuse and prevention services and policy meet critical needs and reflect the most current research and practice experience

  • Collect, evaluate and share practice- and policy-focused articles, reports and best practices

  • Identify unmet needs.

You can make a tax-deductible gift to CEJW in several ways, including:

  • By check. Checks should be made out to the California Elder Justice Workgroup, and mailed to WISE & Healthy Aging, Attention: Molly Davies, 1527 Fourth St., 2nd Floor, Santa Monica, CA 90401.

  • Credit card contributions. This can be done on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Contributions are accepted via Visa, MasterCard or American Express. If you wish to make an online donation, click here. Please be sure to identify your gift as going to CEJW in the box labeled “For / In Honor Of.”

  • Tribute or memorial gifts. When an occasion calls for a special remembrance, birthday, anniversary, graduation or other type of gift, a tax-deductible contribution to CEJW both honors an individual and provides essential support for some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Tribute or memorial cards are mailed promptly. Donors receive a separate acknowledgment of their gift. To make an online tribute or memorial gift, click here. Be sure to say in the box labeled “For / In Honor Of” that the gift is for CEJW and who it is in honor of.
  • As a bequest. One of the simplest ways to support CEJW is to make a gift through your will or trust. This can be done as a set gift, as a percentage of your estate or by making CEJW the beneficiary of your estate.
  • By making CEJW a beneficiary of life insurance policies, retirement accounts or pensions.

Charitable giving may have tax and estate planning consequences. Every individual's situation is different. Consult your tax or estate planning advisers before making a decision.
