Mitch Orlik

As executive vice president of WISE & Healthy Aging, Mitch Orlik is responsible for the growth and development of WISE & Healthy Aging’s donor base, as well as management of grant funding from private foundations and corporations.

A 30-year, nonprofit fundraising executive, he has served as executive director of both the Los Angeles and the international offices of the Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) and as executive director of the Los Angeles chapter prior to that position. Before joining the ICRF, Mr. Orlik was director of advancement for the Jewish Home for the Aging in Los Angeles, and prior to that was director of development at Cedars-Sinai Health System. During his tenure at Cedars-Sinai, the annual major gifts campaign doubled to $40 million. He has also held positions at the Jewish Federation of Columbus, Ohio, including executive vice president.

Mr. Orlik holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Davis, a Master’s degree in Jewish communal service from the Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles, and a Master’s degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis. He also holds a management certificate from the Ohio State University Fisher Business School and attended the Executive Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC.

He was conferred an honorary doctorate from Hebrew Union College and the National Louis Kraft Award by the Council of Jewish Federations. Additionally, Mr. Orlik was a participant in the Sherman Seminar for Outstanding Professionals at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass.
