Petula Storey

Program Manager, Fraud Prevention Call Center

Petula Storey is the Director of Volunteer Services/RSVP. She oversees the Senior Fraud Prevention Call Center and the Seniors Against Investment Fraud program. Petula Storey joined WISE Senior Services in June 2007 as Program Manager of the Senior Fraud Prevention Call Center. In September 2008, she was appointed the Program Director for Volunteer Services/RSVP. In this role, Ms. Storey is responsible for managing volunteer services and overseeing the federally funded RSVP project (formerly known as the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) for the Westside.

Her duties include overseeing the volunteer programs that WISE & Healthy Aging sponsors; recruiting, training and supervising volunteers; monitoring staff and volunteer performance; developing financial resources to support the program; preparing the annual budget and grant applications; and fulfilling all reporting functions required by funders and the corporation for National and Community Service. She also manages the volunteer referral process through RSVP for 50 nonprofits throughout the Westside.

Prior to joining WISE & Healthy Aging, Ms. Storey was Head of Advice and Advocacy for the National Autistic Society in the United Kingdom. Ms. Storey holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. After completing her education, Ms. Storey relocated to England where she worked with a number of different community outreach programs including Amnesty International and Action Aid.
