The WISE & Healthy Aging Charity Golf Classic is an important annual fundraising event that helps support the organization's work throughout the year. The tournament is held in the fall at the beautiful North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village.

Proceeds benefit the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program for its advocacy work to help protect and ensure the quality of care of senior and disabled adults living in skilled nursing and residential care facilities. Trained WISE & Healthy Aging Ombudsman are responsible for advocating for residents in the more than 2,000 long-term care facilities in the City and County of Los Angeles. The Ombudsman Program also has the State mandate to conduct preliminary investigations of allegation of elder abuse in the long-tem care settings.
