2009 Charity Golf Classic
WISE & Healthy Aging's annual Charity Golf Classic was held on Oct. 5 at the North Ranch Country Club!Golfers, sponsors and supporters of WISE & Healthy Aging came together to provide much needed support for the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. Thanks to the funds generated by the Charity Golf Classic, trained WISE & Healthy Aging Ombudsmen serve as advocates for residents in the more than 1,800 long-term care facilities in Los Angeles City and County. In addition, they do the initial investigations of complaints of elder abuse in those facilities.
