"It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy."

Financial Well-Being

WISE & Healthy Aging offers programs to help seniors prepare for a more secure financial future.

No matter what one’s income or financial position, planning and expert advice is the key to a better quality of life in the later years.

WISE & Healthy Aging works with volunteer professionals and other nonprofit organizations to provide services to seniors to help them plan and manage their finances, insurance and investments.

Many fraudulent financial schemes, such as those using telemarketing, the Internet, and investment seminars, specifically target the elderly because they have financial resources and respond in a friendly, polite manner. WISE & Healthy Aging, along with senior volunteers, government agencies, law enforcement and other nonprofit organizations, has developed a number of programs to create awareness of the problem and provide the educational resources and tools to prevent victimization.
